Australian consumer law requires transparent GST pricing. The plugin includes a comprehensive pricing calculator:

• Percentage & Fixed Markups: Set global markups or granular category/supplier-level overrides.
• Australian 10% GST Handling: Dynamically add or extract GST based on supplier cost specifications.
• Price Rounding Rules: Round final prices to .99, .95, or the nearest whole dollar.
• Stock Safety Buffer: Deduct custom safety quantities to prevent supplier stockouts from affecting store orders.

3. Live Shipping Rate Calculation at Checkout

Dropshipzone calculates shipping fees by SKU and destination postcode. We integrated a custom WooCommerce Shipping Method that:

• Captures the customer’s Australian 4-digit postcode or New Zealand destination.
• Maps postcodes to Dropshipzone logistical zones with a 5-minute transient back-off cache to protect checkout response times.
• Supports merchant-defined handling fees and free shipping order thresholds.

4. Automated Order Routing & Tracking Sync

• One-Click Order Dispatch: Automatically or manually submits customer orders and delivery addresses to Dropshipzone for picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Bi-Directional Tracking Retrieval: Scheduled background workers poll Dropshipzone for consignment tracking numbers and carrier updates, automatically writing them to WooCommerce order meta and transitioning orders to Completed.

5. Enterprise Architecture & Fault Tolerance

• Transient-Based Batch Locking: Prevents overlapping cron jobs from creating race conditions on large catalogs.
• Adaptive API Rate Limiting: Token-bucket rate limiter enforcing Dropshipzone’s limits (60 calls/minute, 600 calls/hour) with proactive back-off.
